1:34 acid concentrate

I was forwarded comms from FMC to say they are stopping sale of 1:34 acid conc. Good news for sustainability :) as 20% less water needs to be transported around the country.

Is there anyone still supplying it in the UK?

Hi Gareth,
Was it official communication? I was told verbally last year that something was happening but didn't hear any more.

I did a project with the CSH back in 2018 looking at why 1:34 was still available and which manufacturers still supply. There were a surprising amount of services still using it then and the main suppliers were FMC, BBraun and MTN. It think Nipro can supply acid now but not sure if they do 1:34 or have much of a presence in the UK.
If it's true then it's good to see FMC are finally abandoning it. Lets hope the others follow suit.

We switched from 1:34 back in 2010ish and have had no problems.
