Allocated satellite units for techs

Hi all,

Just wondering about how some people may staff their satellite units - do you have an individual posted there permanent or maybe you have one individual responsible for it but may not need to attend all the time?

or maybe it's just totally ad-hoc?

Ad-hoc here. But people do tend to have their favourite units for geographical or other reasons

Same here Chris.  It used to be on a rota basis as the thought was for everyone to stay familiar with everything and everywhere but like your team, people seem to gravitate to certain units.  Nobody has complained about it here - yet!

Ours are all within a 20 mile radius so we all work out of the main unit.  Two techs have responsibility for managing the work at assigned satellites though the actual work can be completed by anybody if needed.
