Hi All,

Just reviving an old thread to see if anybody else has since introduced online chlorine monitoring in the last 3 years?

For those that have had it in use for a number of years, what is reliability like and any rough maintenance costs?

Typically do users have them located pre RO and do these systems cover both free and total chlorine?

Thanks

Our estates dose with ClO2 and have fitted some Scotmas units - for their own use - checking ClO2 pre and post GACs.

I really liked the Kuntze devices which were exhibiting at ART conference last time - seemed very advanced and no cal solutions required.

Those using online chlorine monitoring within the renal plant, could you share you typical monitoring frequency?  As this will be our first online monitor I have no idea. I would assume the supplier will be aware of other units' settings but seems to be asking us what we want.  Guessing it's a balance between frequency and acceptable reagent use?

Hi friends,
We are installing a TESTOMAT 2000 CLT (https://www.lenntech.com/products/measurement/testomat/testomat.htm) as part of our intelligent monitoring system. The idea is to have an automatic analysis before each dialysis treatment shift.
In the meantime, our system monitors with sensors all other parameters, such as pressure before and after the pre-treatment filters, hardness alert, room leakage, tank level, temperature, conductivity, permeate and concentrate flow, water recovery, energy consumption, ro membrane performance, yield, ro health, ro stress, etc.

Cheers
