Hi

Can you please share the User/Maintenance manuals of Fresenius 5008 via a shared folder?

Regards

Anyone else seen this on their 5008 machines?

A rusty looking deposit in the pipework from the mixing chamber to the balance flow and through A02.
This is the second one we have found and after stripping down the first one it appeared to originate in the mixing chamber so wondered if it was something to do with the S02 perhaps?

I'm seeing a high failure rate of screens on machines that are around three years old, all EC 1235.
Anyone else seeing this?

Just out of curiosity, anyone have any idea what this component is ?
It is on th LP1142 external I/O board from a 5008S.
It is marked X075F WHAZ although the X may be a manufacturer symbol as it is 2 overlapping Vs.
I have had a few plausible and some less plausible suggestions.
Capacitor
Overtemp switch
Peltier element
SAW delay line
Crystal oscillator
etc etc.

At a cost of 50p we can now transport our 5008 machine around without the dirty drain hose being draped all over the recently cleaned machine.

Anyone else having problems with the 5008 touchscreen calibration drifting?

Had 3 instances now - always the left hand side for some reason??

We've been getting a bit fed up with the amount of tubing behind our 5008 machines so are trying this out...

We don't use the flush function so why not use the redundent part of the tubing and keep things neater?

We've just had a batch of Sporotal through with only seven months remaining before the expiry date. With this date we will only use about half the 4.3L can and have to dispose of the rest as hazardous waste. Just wondered what others are seeing in terms of expiry date? I'm sure I've seen them longer
We looked at switching to 1L cans but the cost is a lot more and I'm not sure how secure the can would be on the back.
Is anyone one else noticing this?

We have a patient who has changed from 650g bibags to 900g bibags and is now getting air in bicarbonate line alarms since the change.

Anyone know of this or even have the cause/solution?

Cheers

Hi,

Does anyone else get this. Causes E63-10 error and always seems to be small bits of plastic in VS2. Just wondered if it was just our machines.

Thanks Drew
