Has anyone who has recently replaced 300H membranes noticed any performance issues?

What about factory fresh new units (which are possibly fitted with the same membranes that are shipped as spare parts)?

We're told there are no production problems, but with a decade of experience running 60+ 300H's it certainly looks to us as though something has changed.

Does any else routinely clean their single patient RO membranes?

Ours are heat cycled regularly, and chemically sanistised in the event of a poor microbiological sample result.

As part of a 12 month service the membrane is acid / alkali cleaned. Additionally they're citric cleaned 3 monthly if fed from unsoftened water. This regime means we typically get 5+ years from a membrane.

Our usual supplier has let us down with chemicals. Can anyone recommend anything? Or is cleaning not cost effective? Should we just diolox as-and-when and see how long the membranes last?

Has anyone noticed any difference in the failure rate of the newer magnetic drive pump heads on the WRO300H, compared to the older direct drive types?

Does anyone use a third party replacement membrane in the WRO300H, or are they only available from Gambro / Baxter?

I recently got called to a home patient with a leaking WRO300C. I returned the leaking unit to our workshop for inspection, this is what I found. Never seen anything like this before.

2014 RO unit, this is its first fault. Its been at the same address since commissioning, it has 1500 hrs on the clock.

It needs the following

1 Shell tube for RO-module W514003001
1 End plug out complete W515009001
4 Bracket kit for end plug W506012001
1 RO-element K10640001

Quite a spectacular fail!, has anybody seen anything similar?

Our computer department is due to roll out windows 7 updates (from XP) and I was wondering if anybody had experienced issues running the Gambro preset and logging software on windows 7. We have GXP 3.01 and GXL 3.10 so I guess there may well be newer revisions if we have issue with ours.
