home water test

We test our home patient machines twice a year for TVC and Endotoxins and once a year we carry out a RAT1 Chem check, this all happens at service time. Could someone please enlighten me, is there a guideline specific to home install testing as I'm going through a phase of updating procedures and would like the correct info
Thanks John

Hi John,
We do the same as you. We chose this based on the recommendations in the RA guidelines and also considered the consistent quality of feed water from the utility company. Our water results trend data over the last X years also supports this decision. As with any test it's only as good as the moment it is taken so personally I feel trend data becomes more important.

We are in the process of moving from 4 to 6 months following consistant results.
