I would like to know if it's possible to deactivate the Ultrafilter on GAMBRO ULTRA S machine.

When I worked for Gambro we had this request from places that for whatever reason didn't want to use the machines in HDF mode.
I assume it may be difficult to get replacement U8000 filters in Togo? or the cost may be prohibitive?
Obviously Gambro could not advise bypassing these filters

First of all, we do not practise HDF. also It will be very difficult for us to buy this U8000S filter. That's why i would to find a way to deactivate it.

Hi Maxence - did you make any progress on this?

It's a while since I worked on them but perhaps it's as simple as bypassing them with some tubing to convert them back to a standard AK200?
